| Black and White Effect |
| In this tutorial I will show you how to correctly create a black and white image, using the black and white tool opposed to simply reducing the saturation. |

| 1. Open a colour image in Photoshop. |
| 2. Click Filter > New Adjustment Layer > Black & White. |

| 3. The following window should appear: |

| 4. Adjusting the individual saturation for each colour can create greater levels of contrast and gradient balancing within the image. |
